In June 2026, are you looking to learn something new? Make new friends? Be a little more active? Let us help!
The Mayne Island Community Centre is proud to be partnering with individuals and organizations to host a variety of fun activities and classes for all ages and skill levels. Most are offered free of charge – just show up, bring a friend or meet someone new and stay active!
Note: these classes are in addition to the regular classes hosted at the community centre.

Activities

In partnership with Mayne Island School, we are proud to be offering overnight storage for go-by-bike week (June 1 to June 5). The community centre will serve as a meeting point for younger students who still want to bike/scooter/skateboard to school but may live too far from the school.
In partnership with Mayne Island Assisted Living Society (MIALS), we are proud to be hosting our first ever fairy house hunt. There are 8 houses to find spread throughout the community centre grounds. A perfect activity to do with kids, grand kids, or as a relaxing walk with a friend.
See the Fairy House Bingo Card to see what you’re looking for.

Coming soon…
In partnership with MIALS and Mayne Island Early Childhood Society (MIECS), we are proud to offer geocaches on the community centre grounds. Available for the month of June! So dust off your compass, get a map, and have some fun!
